Prior to founding Nautilus, I spent nearly 20 years leading strategic projects in brand and reputation management, internal communications, investor relations and marketing.  My entprepreneurial personality, ability to think creatively, and a natural propensity for change leads me to partner with leaders of small to mid-sized companies to make a measurable difference in their success.  I'm equally comfortable in the private and public sectors…with specialties in manufacturing, education, healthcare and technology. 

I earned a Master of Business Communication degree from the University of St. Thomas and graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Communications.  In addition to consulting, I'm an adjunct instructor for graduate leadership courses at Saint Mary’s University in Minneapolis.  I coach entrepreneurs and help them get off to a strong start through the Minnesota Small Business Development Center.  I conduct frequent workshops for community and technical colleges and contribute to a variety of local and national publications.
